Ingredients
5 eggs
150 grams sugar (3/4 cup)
180 grams flour (1 1/4 cups, sifted)
50 mL milk
5 grams baking powder (1 teaspoon heaping)
5 grams butter
Directions:
Whisk the eggs with sugar until foamy. Beat for 7-10 minutes.
Add flour, baking powder, milk. Stir with mixer until smooth.
Grease the bowl with butter.
#1 In multicooker:
Press MENU and select the CAKE or BAKE/BREAD program. Set the time of 60 minutes and press START. Cook until the program finishes and let the cake set up in the multicooker for another 15 minutes.
#2 In the oven:
Bake in a preheated oven to 350 F/180 C for 40-45 minutes,
Using a toothpick inserted in the center to test for doneness.
Turn sponge onto a wire rack to cool.
Decorate with icing sugar, jam or chocolate (optional)
