Beach Shaggers Hall of Fame 1983 - Jackie McGee and Charlie Womble in Shag Competition

Jackie McGee and Charlie Womble competing in the inaugural Beach Shagger Hall of Fame Induction Shag Contest. The event was held at the Sand Flea Beach Club in Greenville, South Carolina. Jackie and Charlie were later inducted to the Beach Shaggers Hall of Fame in 1991 and 1990, respectively. The Beach Shaggers Hall of Fame was originated by Rick Hubbard during 1983 when he got together with Harry Driver and others with his idea to recognize those original and noteworthy shaggers from Ocean Drive.
