S4, Ep 12: The Case of the Red Faced Thespian. It's murder most foul when Higgins is struck on the head with a stray croquet ball right before a lavish Great Gatsby-themed costume ball is scheduled to be held at Robin's Nest. As Magnum rushes to keep things under control, some priceless jewels go missing, and an addled Higgins finds himself the prime suspect when one of the guests is murdered! Starring Tom Selleck, John Hillerman, Roger E Mosley, Larry Manetti, Colleen Camp, Ronald Lacey, John McCook, Laurette Spang, Vonetta McGee, June Chadwick, Kwan Hi Lim and John Romano. An interesting episode which sees a concussed Higgins think he is the characters he plays at a fancy dress ball and Magnum left to be the "responsible one." Also nice to see among the suspects Colleen Camp a year before she had success with three big film hits with Clue, DARYL and Police Academy 2, and Ronald Lacey, still basking from his role in the success that was Raiders of the Lost Ark. Sadly just 7 years after this he would die from liver cancer, just a month after being diagnosed in 1991.
