Nick finds out from Tish that she and his father had a longtime affair. Karen wants Nick to tell Freddy that he cannot be in the photo shoot. Nick and Lisa temporarily take in Brian's illegitimate son Brian Jr. Nick meets airplane mechanic Norman Exley and finds that Norman was blackmailing Brian about his illegitimate son. Juliet discovers that she cannot stay in the penthouse suite because her ex-best friend Natalie is staying there and Jeremy is involved with her. Nick, with Trip's help, eventually finds out the combination of his father's briefcase--and information about an unknown man, Simon Elder.
