I love cabbage, never had any I did not like but........... this is the best ever! This is my new favorite way to cook cabbage! So I was overjoyed to come across a recipe for thick slices of cabbage roasted in the oven. The texture and crispiness is wonderful. I dont know if I can ever go back to other former favorites!

Prep Time – 5 mins
Cook Time - 40-50 mins
Total Time - 45-55 mins
Ingredients
1 medium head green cabbage, cut into slices of 1.5–2 cm
Vegetable oil
Salt
Pepper
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Spread the vegetable oil evenly on each side of the cabbage slices. Season with salt and pepper.
Bake in a preheated oven to 400F/200C for 20-25 minutes.
Turn over the slices and roast them again for another 20-25 minutes or until the edges are crispy.
