Daniela Nardini - This Life (1997)

Young barrister Anna (Daniela Nardini) is not happy when she discovers that she has been passed over in favour of old flame Miles (Jack Davenport) for a case of sexual assault in this clip from This Life (1997). A man has been accused of groping the pub landlady, but Anna feels he would get more sympathy if she represented him (pardon?). Miles (ever the gent) sarcastically says "Well, he's more comfortable with a woman" before giving her a few pats to her bum and walking off. "Yeah, that's why he assaulted one," retorts Anna, with the added irony that Miles has just done the same. Though quite why Anna would want to get a groper OFF a charge I don't know!
