  • What kinds of gifts do you have?
    OK.RU offers the following gifts:
    • "normal" gift – 35 OKs (displayed on the user's photo for 7 days);
    • "big" gift – 35 OKs (7 days);
    • "special" gift – 80 OKs (14 days);
    • gift for 1 OK (2 days);
    • gift for 5 or 10 OKs (7 days);
    • gift sent as part of the All Inclusive promotion (7 days);
    • free gift (2 days);
    • gift with music – 10 OKs over the gift's cost:
    • hover your mouse over the desired gift and select "Send with music" from the menu that appears or select "Attach a song" when sending the gift.
    Any gift can be public, private or secret.
    • public gifts can be seen by everyone;
    • private gifts can be seen by everyone, but only the receiver knows the sender's name;
    • secret gifts can be seen by everyone, but no one (even the receiver) will know who sent this gift.
    Please note! A gift is displayed on a user's photo as soon as it is accepted. A message attached to a gift can only be seen by its receiver, even if the gift is public. You can send a gift to yourself (private or public).

  • How do I send a gift to another user?
    There are several ways to send a gift to your friend:
    • open the "Friends" section;
      1. hover your mouse over the photo of the friend you want to send a gift to;
      2. choose "Send a gift" from the drop-down menu;
      3. select the desired gift;
      4. fill in the requested fields (optional) or check the box for gift privacy;
      5. click "Send a gift".
    • open the "Gifts" section;
      1. select a gift and left-click on it;
      2. from the menu that appears – "Who is this gift for?" – select the friend you want to send a gift;
      3. fill in the requested fields (optional) or check the box for gift privacy;
      4. click "Send a gift".
    • click the desired gift on the profile picture or in the News Feed;
      1. confirm your selection by clicking it on the gifts showcase;
      2. from the menu that appears – "Who is this gift for?" – select the friend you want to send a gift;
      3. fill in the requested fields (optional) or check the box for gift privacy;
      4. click "Send a gift".
      A gift cannot be sent if the user added you to their Black list. You can't send a free gift or gifts under the All Inclusive service to a user with a private profile.
    The payment system's window will open if you don't have enough OKs in your OK.RU balance. Then:
    1. follow the payment system's instructions to top up your balance;
    2. when OKs are added to your balance, you will receive corresponding notification on the website (not SMS notification!). Usually you will receive notification within a few minutes after payment;
    3. after OKs have been added to your balance, you can send the gift to your friend. Your gift is deemed as sent only upon notification that your gift is sent!
    4. when your friend accepts your gift, you will receive notification.
    Your friend can accept your gift up to 6 months from the date it is sent. After this period, the gift can't be accepted.

  • Why are gifts not displayed in the Feed?
    Free gifts and those sent as part of the "All Inclusive" sale are not displayed in the Feed.

  • How can I create a gift myself?
    You can always make your friends happy by giving them a gift you've made personally. Just remember one thing: adding your own gifts to the site does not grant you the capability to send it to other users for free. You can show off your talent in the "Gift designer" app here.

  • Where can I see my gifts?
    All your gifts are carefully stored in a dedicated section! To view them: Don't worry, your Sent, Uploaded and My Wish List sections are only available to you. Other users can only see the gifts you've received.

  • What do I do if I accidentally rejected a gift?
    Unfortunately, the gift is gone. But don't worry! As soon as a gift is rejected, the sender's OKs are refunded. This means they can re-send you the gift.

  • What is the All Inclusive feature?
    The All Inclusive feature lets you send as many gifts as you want absolutely free. These include any public or private gifts, except special, secret, or seasonal gifts (e. g., flowers, snowflakes, kisses, etc), and up to 15 gifts per hour. You can enable this service during a limited-time promotion on the website. The All-Inclusive feature allows you to send any gifts you like for free (except special, secret, seasonal, or animated gifts). Please note! Adding music to gifts is an additional service that costs up to 10 OKs. Packaging a gift is also an additional service (up to 10 OKs). After enabling the All Inclusive service you can't activate it again for 24 hours.

  • I sent a gift, but it didn't appear on the receiver's photo. Why not?
    If you sent a gift to your friend but don't see it on your friend's profile picture, four scenarios are possible:
    • your friend hasn't been on the website and hasn't seen your gift yet. In this case, you will see the message "Not accepted yet" under the gift in the "My sent" section. As soon as the friend comes online, they will receive a notification about the new gift. If your friend accepts the gift, it will appear on their profile picture;
    • your friend has visited the website, but hasn't accepted the gift yet. In this case, you will see the message "Not accepted yet" under the gift in the "My sent" section;
    • the user rejected your gift.In this case, the OKs spent will be returned to your balance;
    • the user deleted your gift for some reason. Sadly, we cannot refund the OKs in this case.
    Currently a profile picture can display up to 100 gifts. All gifts you have ever received are stored in the "Gifts" section located in main menu at the top of the page.

  • How can I learn who is sending me secret gifts?
    Unfortunately for the recipient (and fortunately for the sender), that is impossible. If you have received a secret gift, you can only guess who it came from. On the other hand, if you use this feature yourself, you can be confident that you will remain 100% anonymous. If someone uses the secret gift feature to harass you, please consult this page.

  • Why can't I send a gift?
    If your account has a negative balance, then unfortunately you can't send gifts (free or paid) until your balance is positive or zero. You can learn how to check your balance here.

  • How do I delete a gift?
    You can delete a received gift easily, of course! To do this:
    1. Open the "Gifts" section in the menu under your name.
    2. Then click "My gifts" in the gray menu to the left.
    3. In the "Received" section, move the cursor over the gift and click on the X that appears in the top right corner.
    4. Confirm your selection by clicking "Yes".
    All done! If the gift was displayed in your profile photo, it will disappear from there too. Unfortunately, it is not possible to delete all your gifts at once.

  • Why was I charged extra OKs for a gift?
    First of all, don't forget to take a look at your "Transaction History". This is where you can see what you spent your OKs on for the last 30 times over the course of the last 30 days. To do this:
    1. click "Buy OKs" under your profile picture;
    2. in the window that opens, look for the menu on the left and click on "Transaction history".
    You can also view your OK.RU balance statement here. The Transaction History section is an accurate reflection of how much OKs you spent on gifts and paid features. If your Transaction History includes an expensive purchase, unfortunately, we will not be able to refund your OKs. Please bear in mind that you can see the cost of a gift in the gifts showcase if you hover your cursor over it; you can also see the cost when selecting the recipient, right above the "Send a gift" button.

  • Where did my gifts go?
    The issue is that all free gifts are stored on the website for six months. And this means that after this period they will disappear:
    • from the received gifts section
    • from the sent gifts section
    • from notifications, even if the gift was not accepted.
    So accept your free gifts ASAP to show them off on your profile picture.

  • What is a gift with a surprise?
    We now have a new type of gift on the site that is sure to make users happy – gifts with a surprise! You won't just make your friends happy with a gift, but you'll get a reward for it too! Here's how to do it:
    1. Choose a gift with a surprise in the "Gifts" section (these gifts have a star mark).
    2. Send it to a friend.
    3. You will receive a chest that might contain OKs, which will be added to the balance in your profile immediately.
    But it's important to know the following:
    • if declined, OKs spent on gifts with a surprise and free gifts are not refunded.
    • You cannot send this kind of gift for free using the "All Inclusive" and "VIP Status" functions or by using coupons.

  • Why are free gifts sent in messages?
    If the free gifts that you send are only displayed in your conversation with the recipient, then the problem is most likely to do with third party extensions installed in your browser. These extensions may not only have an impact on sending gifts, but can also cause virus banners on various sites. They may also cause problems displaying and processing web pages, including OK. To remove unfamiliar extensions: In Mozilla Firefox: – [instructions] in Opera: – [instructions] in Internet Explorer – [instructions] in Yandex Browser – [instructions] in Google Chrome:
    • Open the Chrome menu from the browser toolbar.
    • Go to the "More tools" menu.
    • Select "Extensions”.
    • Click the trash bin icon next to the extension you would like to remove.
    • Click "Remove" in the window that opens.
