  • How do I change my password in Settings?
    • If you have access to your profile and remember your current password, then to change your password you should:
      1. press the ""More"" link on the right of your profile's main photo, select the Settings item;
      2. Choose ""Password"" item in the settings list;
      3. enter your current password once and your new password twice;
      4. press the ""Save"" button.
      Create a complicated password that cannot be guessed: 6 to 12 characters – numbers, Latin letters and special characters.

  • How do I change my username?
    To change your username:
    1. click the ""More"" link to the right of your profile picture, select ""Settings"";
    2. select ""Username"" from the settings list;
    3. enter the code received by text message (you can enter the code you have received earlier or request a new code);
    4. enter your current password and new username.
    5. click ""Save"".

  • How do I change my phone number?
    To change the phone number listed in your profile:
    1. click "Settings" under the main picture on your profile page;
    2. select "Phone number" in the menu that comes up;
    3. enter the new number in the form provided;
    4. confirm the change.
    An SMS with a confirmation code will be sent to the new number.

  • How do I add an email address?
    To register an email address for your profile:
    1. click "Other" to the right of your main picture;
    2. select "About me" in the menu that comes up;
    3. click "Add";
    4. enter your profile password and the email address you want to register in the pop-up window.
    An email will be sent to that address. Click on the link in the email to confirm the change.

  • I didn't get an email with instructions on how to confirm my email address. Why not?
    Start by checking your spam folder. Your mail filter may have sent it there. Next, make sure you entered your email address correctly. Then have the email resent. If all else fails, try a different email address. In the interests of security, we strongly urge you to list both your email address and phone number in your profile.

  • The activation code I received is invalid
    Most likely the code you received has expired. Note that the code expires after only a few hours. Try to request the activation code again. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Customer Support Team.

  • How do I delete my profile?
    To delete your profile from the full version of our website:
    1. open your page;
    2. click "License Agreement" (at the very bottom of the page, in the right column);
    3. click "Delete profile" (below the regulations);
    4. indicate why you want to delete your profile;
    5. enter your password;
    6. click "Permanently delete".
    After profile removal, the e-mail and phone number linked to it cannot be used in another profile on the OK website for 3 months.
    When a profile is deleted, it is not only the personal information that is removed, but also photos, comments, marks, conversations with friends, groups you created, achievements in games and much more.
    A deleted profile can be restored only within 90 days after its removal and only if your profile contained your phone number. You can learn how to do this here. Note that at the moment, it is not possible to delete your profile using the mobile version of the website or OK application.

  • I can't confirm my e-mail address because the confirmation code is invalid
    If you receive a message saying that your confirmation code is invalid, the e-mail confirmation link has probably expired. In this situation, simply request another letter with the confirmation link. If you are still experiencing issues, please contact the Customer Support Team.

  • What is Two Factor Authentication? How do I enable it?
    Our specialists put a lot of effort into making OK even better, safer and more convenient. And already some users can access a new function – Two Factor Authentication. What is Two Factor Authentication? It is another way to protect your profile. If you enable this function, to log in to your profile you'll need not just a password but also a special single-use code that is sent to your mobile phone. How do I enable Two Factor Authentication?
    • Click the ""Settings"" button under your profile picture
    • Then go to the ""General"" tab in the left menu
    • Select ""Two Factor Authentication"" from the settings list
    • Move the pointer to the word ""Disabled"" and click the orange ""Enable"" button that appears
    • Read the short instruction and confirm your selection
    Now when you sign in to OK, you'll need to enter your password and a single-use code. Please note that you will need to enter a code only if you have signed out of your profile, and not just closed the browser. See, it's very simple, and at the same time it ensures the safety of your profile!
