The Turkish army is running out of ammunition, and it is necessary to take ammunition to the border as soon as possible. Those who remained in Van were defending the city against the Dashnak gangs. 120 heroic children between the ages of 12-17 took on the task of carrying ammunition to the border. Their elders were worried about how they would complete this difficult journey. However, the oppressive winter conditions and the Armenian gangs proved their concerns right. The 120 heroic children set off with Sergeant Musa and a few soldiers. Although they were ambushed by Armenian gangs on the way, they were saved by Lieutenant Süleyman Bey and his soldiers who came from the border. During this conflict, Süleyman Bey was martyred and the children eventually delivered the ammunition to the Turkish soldiers on the border. The time to return had come and the children had completed 80 km in 2 days, giving hope to their families. However, heavy snowfall and blizzard showed that it was not easy and only 40 children came back. Later, 22 of these 40 children survived. 98 of them became martyrs. Van'da kalan kişilerse taşnak çetelerine karşı kenti müdafaa etmekte idi. Hudut'a cephane taşıma görevini yaşları 12-17 arası değişen 120 kahraman çocuklar üslenir. Büyükleri bu zorlu yolculuğu nasıl tamamlayacakları konusunda endişelenirler.Lakin bir yandan bastıran kış koşulları bir yandan da ermeni çeteleri onların bu endişesini haklı çıkarmıştır. 120 kahraman çocuk başlarında Musa Çavuş ve birkaç asker ile birlikte yola koyulurlar. Yolda Ermeni çeteleri tarafından pusuya düşürülseler de Huduttan gelen Teğmen Süleyman Bey ve askerleri tarafından kurtarılırlar. Bu çatışma sırasında Süleyman Bey şehit düşer ve sonunda çocuklar cephaneyi hudutta olan Türk askerlerine ulaştırırlar. Geri dönüş zamanı gelmiş ve çocuklar 80 km'yi 2 günde tamamlayarak ailelerini umutlandırmıştı. Fakat yoğun kar yağışı ve tipi bunun pek de kolay olmadığı gösterdi ve geriye sadece 40 çocuk gelir. Sonrasında ise bu 40 çocuktan 22'si hayatta kalır. 98'i şehit olur. Bu olay vatanı için yaşına bakmaksızın canını veren çocuklarımızın adını isimsiz kahramanlar olarak tarihe yazdırmıştır.
