Enpro Sector 1:
Segment 1:
First two wraiths may be omitted but later in PCT I'm killing one of them. This part varies because there may be that neither of them, both of them, only one of them reaches this room. You may skip the commando and raise your adrenaline. There is a curse on me that I cannot do a run killing an imp when lying (I can do it when practising), you will see this later again. Last imp is hard to kill but it's better to save the cube for the first soldier next.
Segment 2:
I'm satisfied with the result of this. Only one thing: last wraith can be skipped but in this case it might cause trouble and it is at the end of the run (after you have listened the whole speech of Dr. Meyers). If you fail here, you have to start over and Dr. Meyers will tell you the story again and again...
Enpro Sector 2:
Segment 1:
At that time I didn't know that I will last use the machine gun here so the armor pickup is unnecessary. CCR part is scary because the headless zombie is triggered to get up when you enter the room (you can hear the scary sound as well), therefore you don't have much time before it reaches you. It ended my runs many times.
In real life those door opener and elavator buttons would have been destroyed by my shots, fortunately in this game they are very robust.
Segment 2:
I think it is safer to kill the first imp instead of running away in the other directrion. The maggot rarely shows up at the door but of course in my run it appeared. You can see a bug, which caused me headaches all the time because it is not deterministic. Before using the cube agains the commando, I have the shotgun. After using the cube, I get the SSG back! You may see me switching back to shotgun. Anyway, in APC, most of the time monsters catch up but this time they didn't. Since there is time, it makes no difference to kill them slowly even with pistols if you wish.
Segment 3:
Not much to say, I was a bit worried and almost lost in LE after killing the Arch-vile. Not to mention the exit...
Underground Sub-Level 01:
Segment 1:
I think this is the longest segment in the whole run with almost 2 minutes.
One imp is enough for the cube, which is even a must. The goal is to reach the FM. The trick is that the door becomes locked when you call the elavator. If there is an imp in the door, it will not be locked. This way all the imps that you left come to you. To avoid this, I'm waiting a half second and then go through the door. Because of this an imp throws a fireball, which blows everything including those that want to enter the room.
Trites are easy to handle with the Grabber. As you might know, the target of the cube is sometimes different then you think. Because of this, after SS, most of the time the cube went to kill the third Z-sec. I prepared for this and thought I had to kill both Z-secs but this time cube worked as I intended it to use... Combine this with that bug I mentioned earlier (SSG instead of shotgun).
Underground Sub-Level 02:
Segment 1:
Man proposes god disposes, this is so true here. In SO and SLS, I planned that I use the cube, kill the 3 Z-Secs with three shots of shotgun and then 2 more shots for the zombies. I get the cube, perfect. I did it but wasn't satisfied with the result. I reran and did what you actually see. I'm using the cube and kill the first Z-Sec, grab/do eveything and wait for the remaining two Z-Secs. They aren't coming, ok, let's switch to grenade and throw. Result: both are dead. Ok, rushing to the zombies before the sentry kills them. Oops, SSG, let's shoot and what? Both are dead with "one" shot. I'm sure if I...
