Designed and made this costume for Halloween 2011 to scare trick-or-treaters. Wingspan is approx. 12 feet from wing tip to wing tip. Video is a little dark, but you get the idea. The song is Requiem for a Dream by Clint Mansell. I do not own the song but thought it sounds cool with this video. Sorry, YouTube doesn't allow me to reply to all the comments, but thanks for commenting! Someone asked where I bought these. I made these. It was not too difficult and the total cost was around $50. I used 1/2" PVC pipes, pleather, an old backpack, steel cables, blocks of wood, two rotating flag pole holders, screws and nuts, handle bars from a stretchy exercise thing, and hot glue for the wings.
