Boulder is taken to Berk, where Meatlug feeds her along with her own babies. SPOILERS: About thirteen years have passed, and Ragna inherited the stubbornness and thick-headed nature of both her parents. Despite their caring, she grows rebellious and doesn’t have a strong bond or even a liking towards dragons, which are normal on Berk. This fact makes Hiccup sad and creates a slightly troubled relationship between father and daughter. Ragna even ignores Boulder and prefers to ride on her horse Angus, instead of flying with the Gronckle. One day Ragna is happily riding and shooting arrows, while Boulder sadly walkes around in the village. There she is ambushed by Alvin and taken as a prisoner, to get money and loot from Hiccup. (In this AU Alvin is still an enemy of Berk). Valka sees the kidnapping and informs Hiccup. The chief and the Alpha race to the rocks, where Ragna is climbing. Hiccup thinks, since Boulder is Ragna’s dragon, it is her responsibility to rescue her. Ragna is shocked by the news and the three fly the whole night to reach Alvin’s ship. Meanwhile Astrid is leading the raid with the other warriors and happens to be near the Outcast ship. Astrid sees what has happened and knows that Toothless could easily be recognised and the rescue would soon become a battle. With Stormfly’s help she distracts the Outcasts, while Hiccup sends Sharpshot to cut Boulder’s ropes. But before the Gronckle can escape, Alvin grabs the last rope. As Ragna sees this, she gets so angry, that she shoots an arrow and cuts the last rope, freeing Boulder. Ragna and Boulder happily reunite and Hiccup and Astrid watch proudly. Ragna shows again, how good she can aim, by splitting her mother’s old arrow, which impresses Hiccup.
