A funny but bittersweet episode, the best sitcoms are usually able to mix comedy with pathos and make you care for their characters and it's true with One Foot in the Grave. Here it is the ever affable Nick Swainey as he falls in love with his mother's nurse, but is too shy to ask her out. You feel for him and his struggles and really root for him, but will it be a happy ending for him? Meanwhile there is great fun with Victor chauffeuring his new boss' expensive cars. When a character says his valuable cars are his babies, you just know something bad is going to happen to them - it's just working out HOW they will be destroyed that makes this episode compulsive viewing. Oh, be warned - there is a naked Victor in this!
