Ladies and gentlemen: A Night In Sapporo! This is the FINAL concert on the long and exhausting Jazz/Live Killers Tour. Being that, Queen have brought back some songs they dropped on the last several gigs--bringing this excellent concert to a grand 130 minutes! That's over TWO HOURS of Queen! This is generally considered one of the best Japan gigs Queen has done, and I agree! This gig is complete, and although Freddie's voice is still very rough, he puts in some great performances, and is generally much better here, than he was on the (in)famous 4/25/1979 concert.
This concert was remastered by my friend TSS_Killer (tsskiller08): He fixed the pitch, tempo, and EQ'd the sound--leading to a better listening experience!
Note: After listening to this concert, TSS_Killer and I have found lots of bloopers and classic moments in this show. Here's the list:
* Freddie makes up piano notes during Somebody To Love's ending
* "Ghost On Two Legs" (random sung low notes)
* Freddie shows Japan how NOT to sing Bohemian Rhapsody
* The "stop-singing" on We Are The Champions
* "Fail Of My Life" (Freddie forgets the lyrics, and STOPS the song in places)!
* We find out, that Freddie is an official "maracas salesman."
* Roger Taylor makes fun of the band's touring manager Gerry Stickells ("Geriatrics").
* Freddie forgets the lyrics to Keep Yourself Alive.
* During We Will Rock You, the Japanese girls are playing with bicycle bells, and SQUEALING along with Freddie! LMFAO!
ENJOY!!!
