Called "the convertible" or "the ultimate off road vehicle," a 1960 Taylor Aerocar appeared at the 2009 National Aviation Heritage Invitational. This event is sponsored by Rolls-Royce and runs in conjunction with the Reno Air Races.
One story I heard was of the grandson of the owner hoping to both get his driver's license and his pilot's license in this car, er', airplane someday.
