Come on Rupert, it’s just a little stroll: Happy newlyweds Jerry Hall and news mogul Murdoch, 85, take a honeymoon wander in the south of France.
Walking hand in hand, newlyweds Rupert Murdoch and Jerry Hall were the picture of happiness as they took a honeymoon stroll in the French sunshine.
The couple chatted and laughed as they ventured out for a wander during a stay in the south of France. Australian-born Murdoch, 85, clung on to his fourth bride's hand as she strode ahead while they took in the sights of Saint Paul de Vence - a fortified medieval village just a 15 minute drive northwest of Nice.
Both looked smart, Jerry, 59, wearing a navy blazer, blue scarf and jeans - relaxing the look with a pair of trainers and black sunglasses - while her new husband went for a beige suit jacket, brown shoes and cream sweater over a maroon shirt.
At one point, Murdoch looked ready for a break as he puffed out his cheeks while the pair crossed the road. Meanwhile, his wife was seen clutching a couple of magazines as the couple perused souvenirs at a local shop.
The village is also famous as the burial place of artist Marc Chagall and has galleries and is popular with tourists for its medieval streets and beautiful views.
The honeymoon stroll comes after the supermodel posted a picture on Twitter this morning of her and the media mogul with their 10 children from previous marriages.
The photograph showed the newlyweds with Jerry's children Georgia May Jagger, Lizzie Jagger, James Jagger and Gabriel Jagger. Also featured are Murdoch's children Prudence, Lachlan, Elisabeth, James, Grace and Chloe.
Jerry posted the picture with the simple caption: 'My beautiful family! Photo: David Bailey.'
The couple marked their marriage with a celebration at St Bride's church near Fleet Street, known as 'the journalists' church', earlier this month.
It came the day after they officially wed at Spencer House, a palace built by ancestors of the late Princess Diana, on March 4. Murdoch tweeted he was 'the luckiest and happiest man in world' on the day they tied the knot.
Both were said to have seen the hour-long blessing at St Bride's, the spiritual home of Britain's media, as their 'big day'.
It is the fourth marriage for Murdoch, who owns Fox News Channel, movie studio Twenty-First Century Fox, publisher HarperCollins and newspapers The Sun and The Times in Britain.
It is the first official marriage for Texas-born Hall. She and Jagger had a private Hindu marriage ceremony in Bali, Indonesia, in 1990. During divorce proceedings in 1999 a British court declared the marriage invalid.
Murdoch and Hall reaffirmed their marriage vows at an hour-long church service, which included music by Wagner, Schubert and Vivaldi and the hymns 'Jerusalem' and 'Amazing Grace.'
Murdoch's son James read from the Bible's 1 Corinthians — a passage that declares 'the greatest of these is love' — and Hall's son Gabriel Jagger read from ancient Chinese text the Tao Te Ching.
