Part 3 of 6 of the kids' show from 1993. George has wished they were in the future and the children end up in the year 1993. After narrowly avoiding being arrested for unintentional shoplifting in a supermarket, they seek out their aunt's old home, only to find themselves in the middle of a teenage party. But there is an even bigger surprise when they study some of the photographs in the house... Starring Toby Ufindell-Phillips, Laura Clarke, Leonard Kirby, Vicci Avery, Anna Massey, Polly Kemp, Frank Taylor, Carol MacReady, Simon Slater, Joanna Barrett, Calum Macpherson, Jodie Hartill, Daniel Perry, Zoe Smale, Nicola Maddock, David Weller and Alessia Gwyther, who some eagle eyed viewers may remember from the early years of kids series Mike & Angelo from 1989 to 1991, as well as from the Poirot Xmas episode The Affair of the Royal Ruby (1991). This is the famous episode where the kids go into the future to 1993, which was quite a nice twist to a sequel from an original story from the 1900's. With there being no sequel from the book, it gave screenwriters free reign to think up new situations from wishes, which is why I think this sequel proved better than the original series.
