New Pickup Isuzu D-MAX 2016, 2017, V Cross, DDI, 4x4A facelifted Isuzu D-Max pick-up truck is on the way at the end of next year, featuring a new Euro 6-compliant diesel engine and a handful of interior and exterior changes. The truck hasn't been officially revealed yet, but Isuzu has confirmed to Auto Express that leaked pictures on a Thai website are real - and that the pick-up will be available in the UK in December 2016.The Isuzu D-MAX is the Japanese marque's pickup truck and a competitive entry to the recent Truck Wars. It's the proud successor to the Fuego, which was a popular choice among families with a taste for tough and big cars. Its most notable feature is its 1,485 mm x 1,530 mm x 465 mm loading bay, which can carry a multitude of large and heavy items. It can also be optioned with an array of accessories like bed covers, camper shells, and more. The D-MAX is also just as versatile, as it is family-oriented. Interior features include leather seats for 5 passengers, air-conditioning, and a 6.2” LCD multimedia entertainment system with DVD/WMA/MP3 compatibility and Bluetooth/iPod connectivity for the top-of-the-line variants. Power comes from either a 2.5L CRDi Turbo-Intercooler Euro-2 diesel engine or the new and more powerful 3.0 VGS power plant, both coupled to either a 5-Speed MT or a 5-Speed AT. Performance output reaches 136 hp and 320 Nm torque for the former and a an exciting163 hp and 380 Nm of torque for the latter – both available in 4x2 and 4x4 variants.
