These are adverts for the first episode of the TV drama The Orchid House, which were broadcast on February 21st 1991. Funnily enough I have The Orchid House in my TV Shows & Drama channel album as two 2hr long episodes (ie, 2 eps joined together) and I also have part of the adverts for episode 2 as well. I am aware that the words don't always move to the lips on these ads, but that is not down to me but the original uploader. There are a couple of famous faces, including Paula Tilbrook (Betty Eagleton in Emmerdale) and Mark Williams (of The Fast Show and Father Brown fame). There are two ad breaks and the commercials are as follows: 1st break: Persil ad (Paula Tilbrook - They've had a little one); Batchelor's Fried Rice (Indian girl shopping); Diet Coca Cola (Photographer looking for girl in streets); Finish Dishwasher powder; Peaudouce nappies (Boy & Girl toddler try out products); P&O European Ferries (Cartoon); Crisp n'Dry chips (Any day can be a Friday) and Persil ad again. 2nd break: BMW car (checking for vibrations); McDonalds (Lucky Passport offer); Vidal Sassoon Style & Mousse spray; Birdseye Alphabites (Two boys discussing dinner); PG Tips Instant (Mum visits son at flat); Kellogg's Special K cereal (woman in shack in underwear by beach); Oleta Adams Circle of One music CD; Flora Sunflower oil; Post Office (Supermarket checkout Generation Game - Mark Williams), and Whiskers & Pedigree Chum (Polo car prize offer).
