Part 4 of 8 of the 1977 drama. A young stranger, Tony Viglis, arrives on the island to honour a promise to his dead grandfather, whose body he has brought over to bury in the local cemetery. But his presence enrages the locals who attack him and it is only the quick thinking of Alan who prevents him from being killed. But why have they taken against him? Whatever the reason, when Katarina hears of his arrival and of Alan's help of him she stirs up the locals against them in a conflict that brings Alan face to face with Melina's mother for the very first time.
Starring Jack Hedley, Betty Alvaniti, Stefan Gryff, Patience Collier, Steve Plytas, Neil McCarthy, Takis Emmanuel, Gareth Thomas, Nikos Verlekis, Maria Sokali and Kostas Baladimas. This continues to be a very slow moving drama, with individual stories against the backdrop of Alan Hardane's arrival and Katarina's plot (for whatever reason) to get rid of him. Yet in it's day it was remarkably popular, and there is some fun in spotting a familiar face in the episodes. And after the appearance of one sci fi star in Lalla Ward in episode 2, here it is Blake 7's Gareth Thomas as the most unwelcome of visitors - not that he has the foggiest why!
