One evening he expresses concern at the amount of money being lost by a young gambler, who is later found to have committed suicide. When one of Fine's henchmen is killed by fellow mobsters, he becomes convinced that he's next. Terrified at what the future may hold, he begs his butler to help him in the only way he knows how.
