A 'B' noir about a cold-hearted femme fatale that was long thought to be a lost film, but was re-discovered by private noir collectors and restored by historian Jay Fenton. The restored film was re-released to the public in 2003.
Based on the 1938 novel 'Once Too Often' by Elwyn Whitman Chambers.
