Disturbed by the nightmare, and the continuing visions of his dead uncle, Charles arrives and is informed by his aunt that as the sole surviving Sand, he has inherited the Sand family legacy, “The Sight,” an ability to see premonitions and future events–an ability he cannot control, or stop.
