About 3 hours of soft music covering my cross-country full flight in Chartreuse (Isère, France - French Alps). [click on the time links to jump to key points of the flight] - Taking off from St Hilaire [00:02:59], - Testing the air the first 15mn, by playing around [00:05:19], - Leaving the site toward South-West [00:14:25], - Passing by St Pancrasse [00:17:35], - Arriving at manival [00:23:30], and fighting against the breeze that kills thermals, - Escaping from the breeze, and going toward Fort St Eynard [00:33:26], - Climbing up to the cloud [00:41:45], - Admiring Mount Chamechaude ont the right, sappey en chartreuse below [00:48:16], - Arriving at fort St Eynard [00:53:45], southwest-most point of the trip, - Waving back at people watching [00:54:54], - Coming back from St Eynard , tasting the cloud [01:22:20], and reaching bec charvet [01:33:25], - Reaching the dent de Crolles [01:37:35], and 1st try out toward Mont Granier (failed) [01:43:12], - Thermaling back again [01:55:00] and 2nd try (successful) toward North-East to Mont Granier, - I keep myself as high as possible. A cloud kindly swallows me at [02:03:18], but i have to get myself out of him, I close my wing's ears and accelerate, - Exploring the 2nd floor of Chartreuse's mountains [02:11:08], here between Perquelin and cirque de st Meme, - You may like the reversed arch at [2:16:20] - I keep flying beside of Chartreuse's wonderful clives [02:31:11], but too late for Granier, it's shading over my way, almost arrived. I reached my northeast-most point at [02:36:40] at Col de l'Alpe. I can't lift myself up enough to reach safely the sunny west-side of the mountain, got to head back to lumbin, - No more thermals [02:40:50], I decide to dive into the valley breeze [02:47:22]. It pushes me successfully toward the landing site at glide ratio of 40:1!! - Passing by Col de Marcieu at [02:51:07] - Running out of battery :'( - Landing peacefully at almost 0Km/h facing the breeze - Smiling forever after this 54km flight.
