While Sweden Loda had some difficulties top against the triple-range lane, United States Team Liquid had serious problems controlling both the mid and bottom lanes. Skywrath's early roaming on Puck helped Sweden AdmiralBulldog find early levels that put him way ahead of the curve. The early death by Germany qojqva on Shadow Fiend coupled with spending his early gold on a Hand of Midas delayed his farm significantly and put him in no shape to contest the early pushes by Sweden Alliance. With Pugna and Dragon Knight, early pushes were all the rage, not only extending Sweden Alliance's map control, but also contributing to a (as United States SUNSfan would say) disgustingly early 12 minute Blink Dagger on Sweden EGM's Sand King. Despite the squishy Sweden Loda helping United States Team Liquid achieve an early kill lead - the score hit 7-2 in United States Liquid's favor after a Freezing Field hand-fed Razor kills on both Clockwerk and Sand King - Sweden Alliance clearly maintained control of the game. Aggressive warding in the Radiant jungle allowed multiple ganks utilizing the Hookshot into Cogs with Skywrath Mage's Mystic Flare combination. Sweden AdmiralBulldog's early Aghanim's Scepter only made things worse for United States Team Liquid. At 21 minutes, a fight at Roshan left most of Sweden Alliance's heroes dangerously low but all of United States Team Liquid's heroes dead. With the incredible lockdown available through Clockwerk and Sand King coupled with the Ancient Seal and Nether Ward, Sweden Alliance confidently took the high ground. Despite several excellently timed Shallow Graves throughout the match by United States FLUFF, United States Team Liquid called the 'GG' shortly after 30 minutes.
