Rare BBC short screened once in 1988. Long before Tony Robinson's series Fact Or Fiction on Boudicca, he devised, along with Toyah Willcox this entertaining children's friendly modern retelling, complete with popular culture references and perfect for the younger generation to learn the story of the Queen of the British Celtic Iceni tribe who led a major uprising against occupying Roman forces. The production is complete with glorious analogue video transitions and special effects worthy of 1988, while the two enigmatic hosts even manage to make an historic rap song out of the final battle.
Devised and Told by Tony Robinson and Toyah Willcox for Children's BBC. Rare and forgotten, not even featured on IMDB.
