"The Two of Them" Juli’s husband Janos is violent and depressed. Mari runs a women’s shelter. One day, when Juli seeks refuge after being harassed by her drunken husband, their paths meet. With strict rules barring Juli’s daughter from staying with her at the shelter, Mari decides to put mother and daughter up in her flat. Janos cannot bear the absence of his wife, and a triangle of ambiguous relationships ends up disrupting everyone’s lives.
