Artist city, country: Elizabethton, Tennessee, USA Artist Biography: Anthems is a metal band that is brutal by nature and formed as a whole in early 2012. Based out of Elizabethton, TN, five friends came together to try and make something great. Making their debut Jesse Hall (vocals) and Joey Moore (guitar/vocals) and recruiting talented musicians from other well known local bands...Dustin Powell (Drums), Matt Phipps (Guitar/Vocals), and Adam Potter (Bass) formed a band that really projects the power of the name Anthems. It's all about power and standing for something more than what we have been given. Working song by song on their first album is a tough and costly project and all members have given a lot to what we have so far. Every member having jobs and families to support and still manage to bring new music and live entertainment with a lot of sacrifice. As of now the band is working on the songs for the first album releasing two singles and working on a third before going to studio to do it in its entirety but, count on the support of their friends, family, and fans. We as Anthems stand for something great and hope to do so for years to come and as we grow as a family our music grows with us and you can expect the best as we give our all.
