"The Shadow of Your Smile", written by Johnny Mandel and Paul Francis Webster for the 1965 MGM film, The Sandpiper, starring Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor, won the Academy Award for Best Original Song that year. Barbra Streisand recorded it for her 1965 television special, My Name Is Barbra. The song was included in the album, My Name Is Barbra, Two..., the second album to feature songs from the TV show and is available on CD on the Columbia label.
