Part 4 of 7 of the 1981 TV adaptation of Sense and Sensibility. Still reeling from Lucy Steele's shock news, Elinor vows to keep her secret. Marianne is happy that the sisters are visiting London, but a chance meeting with her beloved Willoughby does not get the reaction that she expects... Starring Irene Richard, Tracey Childs, Robert Swann, Annie Leon, Peter Woodward, Donald Douglas, Philip Bowem, Marjorie Bland and Peter Gale. This was a slightly controversial adaptation at the time, due to it ommitting the 3rd and youngest Dashwood sister from the series - but then again, considering the Dashwood financial situation maybe they had to sell her to make ends meet? Either way, this has rarely been repeated on TV since it's broadcast in February - March 1981, so is a rare chance for viewers to see a classic from it's past.
