Arkadiy Severniy and "Oberton" group - "Somehow my cigarette is blowing down" (music and words by Kostya Belaev) Leningrad, USSR, 1977 Arkadiy Severniy (real surename - Zvezdin) - the popular Leningrad (St. Petersburg) singer, the great Russian chansonnier, the famous underground bard, "king" of a street-song (prison-folk song). He was very popular in Soviet Union in 1970-1980 because of extraordinary style of performance forbidden lyric`s and prison's songs. All recordings were made unofficially on private flats. Arkadiy died from heavy alchogolism in 1980.
