Whitesnake-Live in concert-Silver Springs Park, Florida Aug. 3, 2013. This vid. I took (among several) features guitar solos-first by Doug Aldrich, next by "Reb" Beach. These were some kick-ass, sizzling lead guitar solos! "Original" in terms of first lineup in 1978 would only be David Coverdale. The drummer (Tommy Aldridge) started in 1987, left the group some years later, but rejoined for the tour. The two lead guitar players joined in 2002. David's voice at times sounded worn out, he often screamed out the lyrics at an unpleasant, and annoying shrill, other songs he had better voice control. I think they put too many concert dates too close together for this aging rock star's voice! However, just hearing the guitar players "rip" was worth the ticket price, even though my ears are still ringing 36 hours later! 2013 Tour line-up is as follows: David Coverdale-Lead Vocalist; Doug Aldrich -- Guitar, backing vocals (2002--present); Reb Beach -- Guitar, backing vocals (2002--present); Brian Ruedy -- Keyboards, backing vocals (2011--present); Michael Devin -- Bass, backing vocals (2010--present); Tommy Aldridge-Drums (1987-present).
