Here is my true story of my DJI Phantom and a GoPro 3 Black Edition without a Waterproof Case. While testing the new Gimbal I tested also the capabilities of the Copter on stronger wind. That was not a good idea. My copter drifted away and shocked some ducks and also myself. I landed in the river and the whole copter with my gimbal and the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition dived into the deep. After a shocking 10 seconds I ran over the bridge jumped into the river, fished my Phantom and my GoPro out and hoped that something will survive. After a terrible 2 Days I tested everything and was very surprised. The GoPro has damaged the SD Card but after some tests and recovery tools I managed it to reconstruct the movie files and post here the results. The GoPro is still working like on its second day (the first one was update day). The DJI Phantom lost during his crash one prop and the engine nut, but that's not a big deal. One prop is a little bit scratched, also not a big deal. Only one 18A ESC is a little bit damage because in low speed it´s not working properly and the engine stops and starts frequently. But all in all, I am very surprised and happy that the rest is working perfectly especially when you think about it that the copter was about 6-7 minutes under the water and was on! Hier ist meine wahre Geschichte von meinem DJI Phantom und der GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition ohne ein wasserfestes Gehäuse während ich meinen neuen Gimbal und die Fähigkeiten des Kopters bei Wind testen wollte. Das war keine gute Idee. Mein Kopter driftete davon und shokierte einige Enten und mich selbst. Ich landete im Fluss und der ganze Kopter zusammen mit dem Gimbal und der GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition tauchten in die Tiefe ab (ca. 1-1,5m). Nach schockierenden 10 Sekunden starre rannte ich über die Brücke und sprang in den Fluss, fischte den Kopter heraus und hoffte dass wenigstens etwas überlebt. Nach zwei furchtbaren Tagen testete ich alles und war sehr überrascht. Die GoPro hatte die SD Karte beschädigt, doch nach einigen versuchen konnte ich die defekten Daten retten und wiederherstellen mit diesem Ergebnis. Die GoPro funktioniert wie am zweiten Tag (am ersten war Updates angesagt). Der DJI Phantom hat während des Unfalls eine Mutter und einen Propeller verloren, doch das ist kein Problem. Ein weiterer Propeller ist angemackt, das geht auch noch. Lediglich ein 18A Regler grün arbeitet nicht 100% bei geringen Drehzahlen, den werde ich wohl nachbestellen müssen. Aber alles in allem bin ich sehr überrascht und glücklich über den Ausgang vor allem wenn man bedenkt dass der Kopter eingeschaltet 6-7 Minuten unter Wasser war! Ich wünsche viel Spaß mit dem Video.
