Amytis (Esther Williams) dreams about love, represented by the sculpture of the Fighting Warrior that turns to live (John Olszewski) in the scene.
The original sculpture, the Fighting Warrior, (erroneously known as "the Gladiator") is from the hellenistic period (100 BC) and made by "Agasias of Ephesus, son of Dositheos" as read in the inscription. The sculpture as well as other portrayed in the movie can be seen in the Louvre, Paris (
