Here are two uses we like of "Va Bene". Basically, Va Bene means "OK". But as you know "OK" can be used many different ways. Before my italian friends tell me that the usage is wrong, I stayed with an italian family from Genova in the 80's for a few months. La signora della casa would constantly say, "Va bene? Ecco." She was asking if I understood what she was saying, then would punctuate it with "ecco" (here). Grace was a good sport with this video. She certainly says, "va bene" but never really said, "Va bene?
