The snake was found under the bed after it slithered through into the window of their bed - after killing the family’s kitten. Thanapoom Lekyen, 42, said she had found the cat outside under the window ledge with a series of bite wounds when she entered her son’s bedroom in the morning last week then fled in terror after she spotted the animal’s shiny scales under the mattress. Fortunately her son, Nong, 13, had been sleeping in his mother’s room the night before and avoided being savaged by the serpent.
