STORY BEHIND THE MUSIC
There is a long story behind this song, and if you want to read the full story and also how the composition came about and my methods with orchestrating and so forth - you can visit my music blog post here:

For this video, the idea of it has been in the works for the last year and a half. It has gone through many ideas, changes, and so forth -- everything from fast car chase scenes, a romantic story, to a heist. But in the end, I really felt strongly that I simply wanted to represent me, Jennifer Thomas, and who I am as an artist/composer through a video featuring performance, authenticity, and something that resonated with people and left a powerful positive impression. I wanted to show that dreams simply start with an idea in someone's head, and with hard work and ingenuity they can become a reality.
Before I ever started composing my own music (which I started doing about 5 years after I graduated from university in music), I was heavily involved in the world of Classical music. I have performed with various orchestras and symphonies as both a violinist and a pianist over the years, and there is something adrenaline rushing about soloing with a group with that sort of sheer energy and magnitude of sound.
Often times, when I am composing my own music, I write specifically for that large symphonic sound. I felt so very fortunate for this video to have the power of a symphony behind me and for the time and dedication they took to be part of it. So many people had a part in this video and I want to thank each of them in the notes below.
