I know that many of you have been waiting to see this video. And I adore this couple they are just the sweetest! This video took us a while to edit. This was a BEAR of a lipoma... Initially I thought it maybe, just maybe would pop out almost whole... But it wasn't meant to be - too many fibrous connections keeping it attached to him. Watch part two to see how it all turned out, but Part 2 is more graphic than Part 1. I decided to divide it this way so those of you that prefer to avoid the graphic details of surgery will be spared. However, at the end of Part 2 you can see what the area looks like about a month after the procedure. Needless to say, this was a very frustrating surgery, I didn't want to create a scar line that spanned his entire upper back but I wanted to reduce the size of this lipoma as much as possible and as safely as possible. I didn't get the area completely flat, but it does look much better and most importantly, I believe the patient is pleased. He sent me a pic and the nicest message about a month after this surgery when he was back at home, I think in London, or it looks more like Jamaica to me! He said that he is doing well, and the only thing he misses about his lipoma was his "built-in pillow", but he uses his wife for that now...
