ANYONE with even a small fear of heights will find this hard to stomach. A swimming pool at a Texas apartment block has a completely glass bottom – allowing people to see through it to the ground 500ft beneath them. A stunning video of a guest strutting onto the transparent base will leave your pulse racing, as it looks as if he’s stepping out into thin air. Even when you realise what’s going on, the footage is still pretty tough to watch. As the guy gingerly steps out onto the glass, cars are clearly visible zooming along the road 40 stories below. The pool is in an apartment building called Market Square Tower in Houston. It looks as if the person filming is walking on air – you can even see cars driving on the ground below Called The Sky Pool, it’s on the 42nd floor of the block and offers a bird’s eye view of the city. It’s an infinity pool which stretches 10ft beyond the side of the building, which is when people get the sensation they’re walking on air.
