Bragg Creek during the June 2013 flood. For those unfamiliar, the water is usually ~20 feet under that bridge, and this bridge is the only access point to the communities beyond. Taken ~11am June 20, 2013. Update: Water levels have risen, the entire town area is now filled with water. The bridge can no longer support a vehicle and anyone who did not evacuate has been isolated. The abutments are supposedly washing away. 21/06/2013 Update 2: Water has receded. The restaurant seen mid-way through (Infusion) has been totally destroyed. Most of the shops had minor to substantial water damage depending on their location. Thankfully, hundreds of people from the community came out to volunteer and help clean up.
