Another song I really like (I'm generally more drawn to darker songs). Here, the Count finally sets his big revenge scheme into motion, which ulimately leads to the downfall of Danglarjack, Rarifort and Monsparkle. Although I would've prefered if they've given this part of the musical more time since it's basically the most important part, I still like it for what it is.
Hope you like it.

Lyrics:
Monte Cristo (to Jacopo):
Tell them you're disatisfied with how you have been treated.
Tell them your allegiances can change...but for a price.
They believe the worst in them, in all men are repeated.
Avarice will be the cheese to trap these three blind mice.
First of all tell Danglars when the market opens Monday.
Buy up all of Lerrom's stock, sell everything he owns.
Lerrom International will triple in just one day.
This bold move will make him richer than he's ever known.
Danglars:
I'll float a short term loan
and liquidate my assets.
I'll lev'rage ev'ry thing that I own
'til it's Rothschilds and coronets.
All risk has been removed,
unknown to Monte Cristo.
How fortunes are reversed and improved
in the wag of a servant's tongue.
Monte Cristo:
Danglars believes in one thing at a time
and whatever it is, he wants more.
Danglars:
Too much is not enough.
There always is room for another.
Seize the day, I always say.
Too much simply isn't enough.
Monte Cristo:
Villefort lives so many lies, the truth is like a stranger.
What is one more compromise if bank accounts will fill?
Swear that his good reputation will not be in danger.
Say he needs but close his eyes for riches and he will.
Villefort:
It's really not a crime,
I'll never be suspected.
We'll live as we do now for a time
until the coast is clear.
No one is really hurt.
I'll still get reelected.
As long as I am never overt,
then there's really not much to fear.
Monte Cristo:
Villefort believes that he's good and he's just,
only helping the ones that he loves.
Villefort:
Too much is not enough
to sully my name with a scandal.
Where's the flaw above the law?
Too much simply isn't enough.
Monte Cristo:
Just to make sure Mondego rises to the bait,
give him this to help him with his dept.
Make him think Lerrom will change his fortune and his fate.
Yes, tell him that,
then tip your hat
and leave and say good-bye!
Mondego:
Farewell!
Too much is not enough,
of wine or of women and money.
An appetite for one more bite.
Too much never seems like enough.
Danglars, Mondego, Villefort:
Too much is not enough,
There always is room for another
Danglars:
Seize the day, I always say.
Villefort:
Where's the flaw above the law?
Mondgo:
An appetite for one more bite.
Danglars, Mondego, Villefort:
Too much simply isn't enough!
