Synopsis / Plot
Set during one of the massive rallies which marked the visit of Adolf Hitler to Mussolini’s Rome in May 1938. The story revolves around Antonietta and Gabriele, neighbors in the same apartment complex but strangers until they meet accidentally. They are worlds apart but get to know each other during the course of the day when the rest of the building’s residents are at the rally. Despite some incomprehension a close friendship and understanding develops between them.
