Quick and easy raw vegan dessert at home. This vibrant cake has deep, rich colors that are pleasing to the eye, with a taste that’s just as appetizing. The nut and raisin crust is followed by a passionfruit sauce layer and a kiwi topping, it almost reminds me of rich fudge cake. This is one of the best, delicious, decadent raw vegan (plant-based) recipes for desserts and treats to satisfy that sweet tooth. This recipe requires no baking and can be made at home in 10 minutes. The summer season is an excellent time to try a raw, vegan diet, or just to add some more raw dishes to your meals. Who needs to turn on the oven to bake a cake in the hot, summer heat when you can make a scrumptious cake without heating up the whole house?
For this recipe you will need:
1 cup of raisins
1 cup of nuts ( cashews or walnuts )
1 cup of dates
Any fruit or berries -- I have used 2 kiwis or alternatively use 1 cup of any berries
To make this healthy raw vegan dessert you will have to do the following:
Step 1 : Presoak your nuts for at least 4-6 hours. Blend raisins and nuts together until smooth, gooey consistency.
Step 2 : Shape your pie into any form you want.
Step 3 : Make the icing ( blend any fruit, or berries with 1 cup of dates until smooth)
Step 4 : Pour over the pie and decorate with fruit
Step 5 : Serve or refrigerate and eat later.
