I have used one before, a medical grade Tens Unit and this unit meets up close to the Medical grade Tens Unit. My thoughts on the only drawback is that the dials to turn up the juice do not become locked when you lock the screen. Which means if you accidentally hit the dials while laying in bed, your going to get a bit of a shock! So, you just have to be careful of where you place it while in bed with it.
