Madonna bruna, Tango (Vittorio Mascheroni) - Saksofon-orkiestra Dobbri, Parlophon 1929 (Polish product; Recorded in Berlin)
NOTE: This lovely tango was compose by Vittorio Mascheroni (1895-1972) - one of the most prolific Italian composers of the radio-era. He started composing easy dance pieces inspired by early jazz in 1915, which were willingly played by Italian ballroom orchestras. In 1927 Mascheroni wrote his first pop music success: Adagio Biagio. Among dozens of popular tangos and foxtrots he composed, in 1932 he wrote another enormous success "Tango of jealousy" which was recorded by most of significant Italian artists of the era. Outbreak of the 2nd WW interrupted his artistic production until the Liberation, when he returned to composing.
