The late Austrian conductor Hans Swarowsky (1899-1975) leads the Vienna Festival Orchestra in this 1956 performance of the Waltz from Act 1 of Swan Lake. The full LP label appears at 4:13. This video was created from an LP issued by a subscription service, set up in the USA in the early 1950s, called "Music Treasures of the World," which in turn was part of the American Recording Society.
