I know today is Halloween, but I have another holiday card for you. Today is Day 8 of the Holiday Card Series 2016. This brings up a good question. I've seen some comments with questions like, "Why are you doing Christmas cards before it's even Thanksgiving?" The simple answer to that question is that I need to start early in order to fit all 25 videos of the series into my schedule. Also, many cardmakers begin their holiday cardmaking months in advance so that they have enough time to create many many cards. In fact, by the time I start the Holiday Card Series in October, many are already finishing up their cards! Anyhow, onto today's card. When I saw Art Impression's Nativity Try'fold stamps and dies I knew I had to create a card using this peaceful scene. In fact, I didn't stray far from the example of the stamps on the packaging. I just kept it very simple. I used Bristol Paper for the card because I wanted to color the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers (I have the 48 marker set). This is a trifold card, with the front of the card die cut to show the layer underneath. You open up the first flap and see an additional scene. Then you open the second flap and see Baby Jesus.
