Eternity and a Day (1998) Mia aioniotita kai mia mera (original title) Language: Greek English Italian. Synopsis / Plot Alexander, writer Greek habitant of Tesalónica, has some days of life and it faces the dilemma of dying as a stranger to itself, or to learn how to love, to commit and to be expressed with people that is he near. After opting for second way, Alexander reads Anna's letters, its wife deceased, and closes its house in the beach. In Salónica, a rainy day, finds the first person that offers him an opportunity to complete he desire of life: an Albanian boy to which Alexander helps to pass the frontier. Later, it counts the boy the history of a Greek poet that he lived from the childhood in Italy and that, of return in Greece, bought words forgotten to write their poems in their native language. The boy of who Alexander has taken the responsibility, looks for for his words and sells them to him. For the boy it is a game; for Alexander it is the answer to their longing of living to depth.
