A video I made in appreciation of yet another franchise entry that's unfairly the black sheep. I think there are worse Jason movies than this one, but people seem to think otherwise.
In my opinion, it's the last true Friday the 13th - it felt like the ones before it, had the same atmosphere, the same fun to it (although this one had a dark humor to it). Honestly, I think most people just can't get over that it's not Jason responsible for the killings.
It's enjoyable, and I think people overlook it and what it offers. I think John Shepherd's the best lead of a Friday film... Danny Steinmann gives the movie a dark edge... There's Tiffany Helm and Debi Sue Voorhees... and Miguel A. Nunez, Jr.'s brief, but memorable part.
It's one of only two Jason movies I can even remember the character names for, so that should say something.
