The Apedale Valley Light Railway was shrouded in mist when I arrived for their Contractors Delight Event on the 8th September 2012. When the Mist cleared the Sun came out and lasted all weekend. This was my first visit to Apedale Railway and what a busy 2 day's it turned out to be. The enthusiasm of the guy's at Apedale was endless with Steam running and a wide variety of Diesels on the Field Railway, all very impressive, as was the number of Train movements over the whole weekend. I would like to say a very Big Thank You to everyone involved for putting on such a Great Event and for making me feel so welcome.
